Riversidelakes is set in 22 acres of East Dorset countryside about 20 minutes from the beaches of Bournemouth and a similar distance from the New Forest National Park. The site has 55 pitches and this includes 5 for caravans or motorhomes and 7 with pre-erected Soul pads / Bell tents which are available for hire.

It's a chilled out campsite with the intention of allowing nice respectful people a chance to enjoy a relaxing experience within a natural setting. We do not want large groups of screaming kids or drunken louts, just people that like to enjoy the great outdoors experience where you can have a chat around a real fire. We just have all the necessary facilities such as a shower and toilet block, washing up sinks, fresh drinking water and a chemical toilet disposal point. We try to keep the site free of cars (we prefer grass to concrete roads!) but, we do allow you to drop off and collect all your gear.

We are currently a certificated Camping and Caravanning Club site and as such each pitch booked should include at least one member unless your booking is during August (we have joining forms here for you to collect on your arrival if required.)

You are welcome to bring your dogs provided they are well behaved, kept on a lead at all times and you are prepared to clean up after them. We have dogs, cats, Kune Kune pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits.

For the benefit of all our neighbours and your fellow campers, we have a strict noise limitation after dark through to 9am so if you like to spend your evenings chatting around the fire that's not a problem but if you are a group and want to play music or party 'til late then it's not the right site for you!

No canoes or boats on the lakes please.

The site philosophy is simple here: "be nice or leave".
